Will the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brakes Fit a 2009 Keystone Summerland with AL-KO 3.500 lb Axle
Question:
I have a 2009 Summerland by Keystone and have 3500 lb axles verified by info sticker on side of trailer. I have the original manuels for the trailer and the axles are made by AL-KO. BUT, I went out to measure my drums it clearly says Dexter on the drum. The drums are 10 inch verified by stamp in casting and measuring. My question is will this Nevr Adjust fit my axles and the corresponding other side? Thank you

Yes, the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes will work with your 3,500 lb AL-KO axles. Brake assemblies attach to the brake mounting flange that is welded to the axle or spindle. The brake mounting flange on the 3,500 lb AL-KO axles uses a standard 4-bolt pattern that is compatible with AL-KO 3,500 lb brake assemblies and Dexter brake assemblies.
If you would like to confirm the compatibility, you can measure the distance between the bolt holes on the brake mounting flange or on your brake assembly backing plate. The distance between the holes on center should be approximately 2-7/8 inches (see photo).
For the left hand brake assembly, you can use part # 23-468 and for the right hand use part # 23-469. I have attached a review video for the Nev-R-Adjust brakes and an installation video for you to use as a reference when you are replacing your brakes.
