Will 2022-2023 Ford Super Duty OEM Brake Controller Work with Dexter Titan BrakeRite EOH Actuator
Question:
Hello ET, Past several time customer here. I have a 2012 Loadrite dual axel boat trailer with a Titan BrakeRite actuator of the same vintage for electric over hydraulic system. I cant quite make out the model number of the actuator stamped on its plate, but it looks like it ends in 1312. Do you know if this actuator is compatible with the Ford OEM brake controller in a modern 2022-2023 F250? Thank you!

Thanks for the photos and information!
According to my contact at Dexter Axle your older model of the Dexter BrakeRite II Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit # T4813102 will work just fine with a 2022-2023 Ford F-250 OEM brake controller.
With that being said, we have found that while most OEM controllers will work, they tend to be a little finicky with electric over hydraulic (EOH) actuators so if you don't already have the truck and OEM brake controller option picked out, I recommend going with an aftermarket controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195 which we know works great with EOH actuators.
