The Pilot Automotive Round Tube Stainless steel Step # CR-600LED that you mentioned does not turn off the reverse sensors. The sensors should be controlled by a button on the dash of your 2014 Honda Odyssey.
This hitch step tube extends from the rear of the vehicle from 7 to 9 inches, and is 18 inches wide. Due to the extension, it is possible that this tube step may activate an alarm or be visible in your reverse system, but it will not turn off the sensors when plugged in.
It is intended for use on 2 inch trailer hitches. It plugs into a vehicle 4-way flat connection to power the LED light. If you do not already have a 4-way for your Odyssey, you could use the Tow-Ready Custom Fit Vehicle wiring harness # 118521 to establish a 4-way flat connection on your Odyssey.
I have included links to the part referenced above and a couple of videos for your reference.
