Installing Tekonsha Voyager Brkae Controller in 2013 Nissan Xterra S
Question:
I just purchased a 2013 Nissan Xterra S. The dealer installed a class c hitch with 6/7 pin wiring. They removed my Tekonsha Voyager from my old vehicle but cut off the plug. Which harness and Voyager replacement plug do I need to buy to install the Voyager in my new vehicle? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since your 2013 Nissan Xterra S already has a 6/7-way trailer connector installed you can use the plug-n-play harness you referenced, part # 3050-P, to connect your Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller, # 39510.
Since your Voyager plug has been cut off you will simply need to splice the four wires - black, white, blue and red - color for color to the wires exiting the back of your Voyager. You can use butt connectors # 05732-2 (you will need to order two sets for a total of four).
