Is The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR A Fit For A 2023 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Thanks Kevin, Our camper is only 2,000lbs dry and our Highlander capacity os only 5,000lbs, so should only need a Class III. I also really like the hidden Curt # C99FR. Would the same 7 way wiring kit with brake controller work?

That's totally fine, it's just nice to have the ability to use a weight distribution hitch because if you ever do trade up or tow a trailer to move some stuff around and you get in the 3,500-4,000lb range these start being pretty useful to help with sag and keeping the trailer tracking straight.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR is a confirmed fit for your Highlander and will offer a much more hidden look with the crosstube being completely hidden behind the bumper. The wiring and brake controller I recommended before will all still be good to go.
