Thanks for the picture! If your bumper is stamped with a 5,000 lbs towing capacity you should be good to go. I would recommend double checking with your owner's manual to confirm. If you do decide to get a hitch I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 14055. With an aftermarket hitch you will have more capacity to haul heavier trailer's and the ability to use a weight distribution system to control sway. You won't be able to use one on a bumper pull.
Since your Coachman camper weighs over 2,000 lbs you will need a 7-way connector and a brake controller to operate your trailer's brakes.
I see from your picture you already have a 4-way connector. All you would need to add a 7-way is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Van with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle like yours with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
I have linked an installation video below to help you with the set up.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Curt Assure Trailer Brake Controller item # C49UR. This is a proportional brake controller that will activate your trailer's brakes with the same force as your van is decelerating.
If the 4-way connector on your bumper came from the factory then you will also have a brake controller port. With this you can use the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter item # C51322 to install the Curt Brake Controller without having to cut or splice wires.
