Weight Distribution System with Better Sway Control than Pro Series 49904
Question:
I have a Reese hitch for my rv with matching weight distribution bars. I currently use a friction anti sway bar. I’m looking for something better. Current bars have “complete kit #49904” on them. I’ve seen some double cam systems - do you have any suggestions? I’m pulling a Forest River 2608 bs with a Ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi if that helps?

We do have dual cam weight distribution systems that would work great to replace your 49904 system with the Reese Strait Line # RP66084 which has same tongue weight rating. The dual cam setups do allow for a proactive way to prevent sway before it starts unlike the system you have now which uses friction sway control to fight it after it starts. The dual cams fight to keep the trailer straight behind the trailer by forcing the spring cams to ride up on the spring bar when it's turning.
