Is The B&W Patriot A Good Option For A 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 Towing An Alliance 32RLS

Question:

Looking at the slider hitch to put on the back of 2023.2500 HD Crew short bed 6feet 7inches just ordered a alliance 32 RLS comes with a Curt roto flex pin box. The truck I purchased came with the 20 inch rims and tires will this hitch work and still give me the 6-in clearance above the bed rails that I need or do you recommend another hitch.

The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 would be a great option for your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500. If you don't already have base rails then you'll want the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16429-204.

As for height you'll need to measure the height of the king pin plate on your Rota-Flex pin box while the trailer is level and then measure the height of your Sierra's bed to determine what height the # BWRVK3270 needs to be set at to keep the trailer level and have 6" of clearance between the bedrails and the nose of the trailer.

This hitch has a 17" or 19" height setting so it doesn't give you much adjustment, but that's very typical for hitches with slider bases. That being said, B&W is definitely always my top choice in terms of quality and I would not recommend another hitch in its place unless you needed a different height and a different hitch was the only way to achieve that height. Unfortunately there's not much you can really check until you have the trailer to measure and determine what height is needed.
