Will Using The Sidebars Affect The Total Weight Capacity Of The Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack

Question:

I am planning on purchasing the Yakima HD overhaul Y01151-5868 along with the tonneau adapter kit along with a RetraxProXR tonneau cover RTT-80852 to mount my rooftop tent that weighs 160 lbs. I am also interested in purchasing a Yakima 7 gal road shower, but am curious if I mount it using the sidebar rails versus on the top crossbars does that effect the dynamic/static weight capacity of the ladder rack system? With the shower full of water and the tent on the top crossbars of the rack I would be over the weight capacity for off road driving by 64 lbs. So Im wondering if I bought the sidebar rails and mounted the shower there would that take away from the weight capacity of the rack system itself?

The SideBar Rails # Y01153 would be included in the capacity of the Overhaul HD Ladder Rack # Y01152-5855 (this comes with the adapters included) so you would assume it's just the same as if you loaded something on top of the crossbars. The sidebars can only hold up to 100lbs weight though.

With the rack having a 300lb off-road capacity you would subtract the weight of the Yakima RoadShower # Y89VR from it (water weighs 8.34lbs per gallon x 7 gallons = 58.38lbs plus the 30lb weight of the shower equaling 88.38lbs total) and be left with 211.62lbs of capacity left for your rooftop tent and any other accessories.

The sidebars weigh approximately 12lbs but wouldn't be factored in to the capacity in this case.
