Question:

How does the sway control aspect of the Contiuum hitch work? Watched a video on you tube and saw no discussion about sway.

The B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW28FR works to reduce sway from occurring by distributing the tongue weight evenly across your vehicle. It does not have a physical sway prevention like a Friction Sway Bar # 17200 or other weight distribution hitches like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37100ET. B&W believes by distributing the weight they are going to prevent sway from occurring.

Personally I feel the Equal-i-zer systems make the most sense for most users. This will require you to find the correct hitch based on the weight of your trailer. I have provided a list below of the different weight ratings for the Equal-i-zer systems.

200-600LBS Tongue Weight Up to 6,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37060ET
600-1,000LBS Tongue Weight Up to 10,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37100ET
800-1,200LBS Tongue Weight Up to 12,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37120ET
1,000-1,400LBS Tongue Weight Up to 14,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ37140ET
1,200-1,600LBS Tongue Weight Up to 16,000LBS Trailer Weight # EQ64FR

These Equal-i-zer hitch systems have been around for more than 75 years and continue to be the standard everyone is trying to compete with.
