Trailer Hitch Receiver, 7-Way Wiring and Brake Controller Recommendations For a 2017 Buick Enclave

Can i Put A Trailer Brake On My 2017 Buick Enclave That Dosent Have A Tow Package?

Yes, you are able to install a trailer brake controller on your 2017 Buick Enclave that did not come with the factory tow package. First you will need a Receiver # e98863 to add to your Enclave. Next we have the 7-Way # 118271 which will allow you to plug into the factory harness and includes the fuses and relays you need to activate the harness. This will attach to the receiver using the Mounting Brackets # C57202 and # 18138 so you will not have to drill into your vehicle fascia.
I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR with its small control knob it give you a clean factory appearance. This is a proportional controller which adjusts braking automatically for light and heavy braking. It will connect to the factory harness with the Plug-and Play Wiring # RED27FR.
