If your 2004 Chevy Express van came with a factory installed 7-Way connector and you need to replace it then you can use connector # HM40975 which will provide both a 7-Way and4-Way connector. But if your van did not come with a factory installed 7-Way the wiring for this connector may not be present.
If you do not have any trailer wiring at all on your van then to add a 7 and 4-Way you will need to start by installing a 4-Way flat connector, # 118392. Then to add the 4/7-Way you will need installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that explain the ETBC7 and 4-Way installation for you.
