Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2004 GMC Sierra to Convert Separate to Combined Wiring
Question:
-I have 2004 GMC the truck 2 separate circuit for the turn signals and brakelights , but trailer only has 1 light per side. Im sure theres a adpator kit so I can get brake lights to work. Normally the brake cancels out the turn signal.

It sounds like you need to install a trailer connector on your 2004 GMC Sierra and if that's the case we have some great options for you. The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56190KIT is what I recommend. This harness will take the separate wiring on the truck and convert it to combined so you can tow a trailer. In addition to this, you'll also need a trailer hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98849 and a ball mount/hitch ball like the Curt Towing Starter Kit part # C45554.
