2" Trailer Hitch for a Honda CR-V and Adapter Sleeve to Use a 1-1/4" Bike Rack

Question:

I have a Honda CRV and am wanting a 2 hitch. 1 Which one would fit best? 2 Then my bike rack has 1-1/4. So what do I need to go from my 2 hitch to my 1-1/4 bike rack? Thank you.

Without knowing the model year of your Honda CR-V, I cannot say for sure which hitch will fit. But we have the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 available which fits 2017-2022 Honda CR-V's. So if you have a model year in that range, this hitch will work for your to provide the 2" hitch receiver you are wanting.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98848 has a bolt-on, no-drill installation and provides the 2" receiver you are wanting. The 2" receiver is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers and ball mounts. This hitch also features a nice matte black finish, which I think blends in better under your CR-V versus a gloss option.

You can then use a hitch reducer like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter # e38YR. This hitch adapter will reduce the 2" receiver to 1-1/4", allowing you to use your 1-1/4" bike rack.
