Recommended Wiring Harness For A Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller In A 2004 Ford Expedition
Question:
I have a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller from another vehicle, Looks like I need a 3035-A wiring harness to use this controller in my 2004 Expedition. Is this correct, and can I purchase it separately? thanks,

Expert Reply:
To install your Tekonsha P2 # 90885 in your 2004 Ford Expedition you could use the plug-in wiring harness # 3035-P if you have the gray towing port located under the dash just behind the OBD2 port and is tied in with the wiring for the OBD2 port. If not then you can use a universal wiring harness like # 7894 and splice in your wiring.
