How Far Back Does Frame Bracket of Reese Friction Sway Control 83660 Mount on Trailer Frame
Question:
The instructions say to mount the ball to the trailer frame 24” from center of the trailer coupler. Can it be mounted 25” rather than 24”?

You would have to mount the frame bracket of the Reese friction sway control unit part # 83660 24 inches back on the frame from the center of the coupler hole. If you went longer than that the unit might come apart if you made too tight of a turn.
