What Does Flashing Yellow Light Mean on Bright Way Switch Mode Battery Charger

I have power going to the unit. Green light is light and yellow light is blinking. It is suppose to be solid yellow. Red is hooked to positive and black wire to negative. Any reason?

I checked out the instructions of the Bright Way Switch Mode Battery Charger part # BRW77FR for you. It states that a yellow blinking light means that the battery is bad or defective. Therefore, I recommend taking the battery in to have tested or testing this yourself using a tester like the Digital Battery Tester and Analyzer part # PT76QV.

If the battery test good, then you'd want to file a warranty claim or replace the charger.

The Bright Way Switch Mode Battery Charger for Hydraulic Lift and Dump Trailers #BRW77FR can only accept power from 12 volt power sources like a vehicle battery/charge system. Shore power is AC power and would not work.
