Confirming If ARK Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Jack will Fit a Trailer With 6.75 Inches Clearance To Box
Question:
Hello, I’m hoping to purchase the ARK Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Jack - Item # ORJW500D, and I’m trying to make sure it will fit. If you refer to the attached image, you can see that I have limited space to work with. My question: If I adjust the jack so that the mount bracket is nearest to the top, will there be enough room for it to swing up to the travel position without hitting the tongue box? Thanks…

Expert Reply:
With the ARK Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Jack # ORJW500D in its lowest position it is 6.49" from the center of the mounting point to the top of the jack. The other end of the jack when fully retracted is going to be 18.89" from the mounting center point. You will need to confirm you will have enough clearance for the other side of your jack to verify the jack will work for you.
If there is not enough room you may consider upgrading to the Removable Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jack # ARK57FR. This will allow you to remove and store the jack inside the trailer when not in use.
