Are Shocks Still Needed When Adding a Shock Absorbing Equalizer to a Triple Axle 5TH Wheel Trailer?
Question:
Would you still need shock if you put the road armor on a camper Would this fit on a 05 keystone raptor 3212ds triple axle

Expert Reply:
As your 2005 Keystone Raptor 3212DS is a triple axle you will need a kit like the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Triple Axle Trailers # MR39ZR. The Lippert Road Armor # LC696740 will only fit on tandem axle trailers. I do recommend also installing the Wet Bolt Kit # MR86ZR with the equalizers. This will allow the suspension to move more freely.
While the equalizers and wet bolts above will allow the suspension to absorb some road shock, adding shocks will still improve the overall ride quality. It will also help to absorb road shock allowing the components to last longer and not wear out as quickly. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2460 and # RM-2460-50 are both needed for your triple axle trailer.
