Should the Center Blue Dot On a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Be On When Vehicle Is Turned Off?
Question:
I just installed the prodigy P2 that I bought. No problem on install and it works fine. My question is about the center blue dot. It stays on after the key is off not hooked up to trailer. Just checking to see if that’s normal for it to be on all the time. Thx

Depending on how your vehicle is wired for a trailer brake controller will determine if the center light on your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 will stay on. Some vehicles will always provide power to the controller as it is fused straight from the vehicle battery. Others will use a relay which will only allow power to reach the controller when it senses the ignition is switched on.
