Which SumoSprings Kit for 2020 Ford F-250 Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I currently have a 2020 f250 and I am using the 1500 pound sumo springs from when I had a travel trailer. I am now towing a fifth wheel with a 2500 pound pin weight. The truck sits level when hooked up, but was wondering if the ride would be better if I changed to the 2800 pound sumo springs?

The SumoSprings part # SSR-127-47 that you have now might be your best option but it depends on if you are happy with the amount of sag reduction it provides currently and the ride quality. It's a balancing act between support and ride quality so if you need more support I would go with the higher rated # SSR-127-54. You said the truck is sitting level now which most likely means it's sagging since the rear end of the truck probably sat up higher without pin weight on it. I would anticipate the 2,800 lb option being your best option to give you the support and ride quality you are wanting.
