Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 1956 Chevy 4400 Flatbed Dump Truck
Question:
I have a 1956 Chevy 4400 1.5ton dually/flatbed dump truck. The distance between the frame is 33s. Would you have a trailer hitch that would fit my truck?

Expert Reply:
I recommend using the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C47CR for your 1956 Chevy 4400. This universal hitch will allow you to fit a frame from 18" to 44" wide. The frame mount brackets are 10" tall and 10-1/2" deep. Be sure to measure your frame and bumper to determine if you will need taller brackets like those included with the Receiver # 15902. There are currently no custom fit receivers for the frame of your Chevy.
