Solution for 5-Way Vehicle to 7-Way Trailer Wiring Adapter

Re- Reply Sorry, but you miss understood my origanal question. Im looking for a 5 Flat FEMALE to a 7 Blade Male Adapter The adaptor will be on the SUV Side the 5 flat will hook to the exsiting wire harness off the SUV the 7 blade female will hook up to the trailers 7 blade female... Your reply was for the opposite of what Im looking for Thanks! Im looking for a 5 pin to 7 Blade adapter truck side? do you have them I can only find 4pin to 7 blade

Since nobody makes a 5-way vehicle to 7-way trailer adapter you will have to put a custom one together. You could use the # A10-7084VP for the 7-way and then connect the # HM47910 on the other end. Since you won't be using the blue brake output wire or the black 12V power wire you can simply tape them off. However, you will still need to attach the ground wire. That means this is going to be more of a permanent installation, not exactly your traditional plug and play adapter.
It is for that reason I recommend installing a complete 7-way using the # ETBC7 on your 2011 Equinox instead. This will give you all of the functions of a 7-way and allow you to use a brake controller in the future if you have a trailer with brakes. The kit comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else needed for the installation. If you still need to connect to a 5-way flat you could use the # A10-7275VP.
