Can The RockyMounts SplitRail LS Be Used W/ Fat Bikes With 4 Wide Tires?

I own a Rocky Mount LS Splitrail rack and had mountain bikes…just purchased ‘ebikes’ with 4” tires…is there an adaptor available or how can I use to carry ebikes? Thank you

I went ahead and checked out your RockyMounts SplitRail LS, and unfortunately there is not going to be an adapter that will allow you to carry your new fat bikes with 4" wide tires.

Instead, you are going to need to use a different bike rack that can accommodate the larger tires. I recommend trying to re-sell that rack and check out the:

-RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # RKY10007-05.

This bike rack can handle up to two bikes weighing 60-lbs each, a maximum tire width of 5", and can be turned into a 3-bike rack with the 1 Bike Add-On for RockyMounts MonoRail Solo and MonoRail for 2" Hitches # RKY10005.
