Can Shocks Be Added To Tandem Axle Trailer Using Over-Under Axle Flip Kit on 3,500LB Axles?
Question:
I have two axles, If i use the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit Item # K71-384-00 I would like to put shocks on my trailer. Do you have what I would need for the Over-Under Conversion Kit that would alow me to put shocks with this? QUESTION: Would you recommend 2 o r 4 shocks?

I recommend installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2450 with your tandem axle trailer. You will simply need to use the U-Bolt plates included with the Roadmaster kit versus the ones included in the Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00. The shock kit will include 4 shocks, 2 for each axle. This will help to ensure the suspension is even on the trailer and does not cause the equalizer to not function correctly.
