Parts Needed To Bypass Factory Trailer Wiring On a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 That Is Malfunctioning
Question:
2006 dodge ram 2500. Has some gremlin with 7 pin. Can we by pass tipm with these products and use brake controller? Is there a place local that could install?

If you want to bypass the factory trailer wiring on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 I recommend using the Universal Wiring Harness # 22551 which will include all the wiring needed to connect to a Tekonsha P3 #90195 trailer brake controller. As all the wiring will be separate from the factory wiring this should take care of the gremlin issue you are having with the wiring.
We do have the Replacement Connector # 20135 which will plug into the factory wiring connector if the gremlin you are having is only with the connector and everything functions correctly at the main plug in.
