How Many Wires Are in the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 4-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord
Question:
How many wire conductors are in the jacketed wire t both ends? Are all 7 pins on RV side connected to pins in connector? I want to cut off the 4 pin and connect 7 wires to my trailer tongue box to use as a wire harness for connecting the front of my trailer to my vehicle.

Expert Reply:
The Blue Ox 7-Wire to 4-Wire part # BX88254 only contains a bundle of four wires. Instead, I recommend the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord part # BX88206 which contains a bundle of six wires. We don't offer a coiled cord with all seven but you could simply exclude the reverse/backup light wire as this isn't used most of the time anyway.
