Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Toyota Highlander That Works w/ the Full Size Spare Tire

I have a 2023 Toyota Highlander and I am needing a hitch that works with the 20" spare. What do you have?

The only hitch that is compatible with the full size 20" spare tire on a 2023 Toyota Highlander is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # EH35VR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Highlander with included hardware.

This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like this hitch because the crosstube is concealed behind the rear bumper and the only part visible is the 2" receiver.

I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # TK99FR for a 4-Way or item # TK57VR for a 7-Way and a ball mount kit item # C45534. These harnesses are only compatible with the Highlanders that do not have the tow package.
