Best Low Clearance Tire Chains for 2021 Subaru Forester with Tire Size 225/60R17
Question:
thank you for the info, would a cable setup also work, looking for a cheap option as these will probably never be installed but must carry for compliance requirements. with that said would still like them to work if necessary to use

For your 2021 Subaru Forester with tire size 225/60-17 the best overall option that has great clearances is the Konig Easy Fit Chains part # TH04115104 as it installs in a matter of seconds, is Class S compatible (that means requires minimal clearance) and provides excellent traction.
Now the chain that has the absolute best clearance is the K-Summit chains part # TH02230K45 as this is only option that doesn't drape over tire's sidewall at all which is where most clearance issues arise.
