The correct Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit with Base Rails for a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 is part # RP50064-58. If you're replacing a set of existing rails and brackets, it's not likely that all the holes will line up so expect to drill a few more for installation. That said, this is a custom fit kit so there will be no holes drilling into the frame regardless, just the truck bed. The Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit will then allow you to install any above bed mounted fifth wheel hitch which uses industry standard rails like Reese, Curt, Draw-Tite, Husky, etc.
If you're also looking for a new fifth wheel hitch compatible with the above rails, I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30051 which is designed for short bed models as it has a slide feature which will give you more clearance while you make sharp turns.
