Question:

The installation of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36600 will not require any drilling to install on the frame of your 2023 Kia Niro. You will have to trim portions of the under body panels to fit the hitch. I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see what panels need trimmed.
I recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118749 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way connection allowing you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with your bike rack. Loaded bike racks often impair the view of the tail lights on the vehicle so the auxiliary lights will ensure you remain legal and safe.
With the receiver being a class II and having a 1-1/4" opening I recommend using a bike rack like the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH12B. This rack is light at only 32lbs and will allow you to carry 2 bikes up to 40lbs each. It holds the 25"-29" in place by the wheel protecting the bikes frame from scratches.
