Will Timbrens for a 2012 Ram 1500 Have a Bumpy Ride

Question:

I am considering the TDR1500DS Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for my 2012 Dodge Ram. I use the truck to haul a gooseneck horse trailer, and theres a noticeable squat. My question - will this system make the trailer ride bumpier for the horse? Im wondering if the shock distribution makes things easier on the truck / driver, but worse for the load.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR1500DQ which is a fit for a 2012 Ram 1500 is a great option for additional support while towing or hauling heavy loads. That said, they can be a bit rough and produce a bouncy ride. Instead, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-307-47 which are a bit softer so they won't provide quite as much support but they will make up for this in their ride quality improvements. The Sumo's unlike the Timbren's have a progressive load so they will only get stiffer when you put more weight on them which will leave you with a smoother ride for both the vehicle and trailer.
