How to Find Bearing Kit and Hub/Drums
Question:
If I were to provide VIN# for my Venture tandem axle boat trailer can you find matching wheel bearing kit, brake shoes, and drums?

No. That type of information is only something you can get from some manufacturers - on occasion. Many of them don't even have a database or even relevant info on their own products, so in order to find the correct hubs you need to know the weight rating of your axle, and also need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves. Wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them.
If you are unable to find them, you need to use a digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. Additionally, you need to know your hub's wheel bolt pattern.
For example, the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84656UC3 is for 3,500 lb axles, has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, uses inner bearing # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter), outer bearing # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) and a grease seal with a 1.719" inner diameter.
I have also added a link below to our entire selection of hub and drums for you to come back to when you have that info.
