Can The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller be Switched Off?
Question:
Have your brake controller installed. Used it for towing during summer months. Would like to turn it off for the winter to reduce drain on my battery. am having some battery drainage issues.. How do I turn it off? Installed on my 2014 F150 XLT... It works great!

While you cannot turn off the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 the Wiring Connector # 22292 on the back of the controller can be removed to disconnect it from your 2014 Ford F-150 XLT. There is not a power switch or sequence you can press to turn the controller off.
