Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 That Does Not Bolt To Bottom Of Bumper

Question:

Looking to see if CURT 15323 Class V 2 in. Xtra Duty Hitch would fit on my 2005 Chevy silverado 1500. Right now my bumper isnt the best and the one thats on it now bolts under the bumper by the license plate so I was thinking of getting a bigger class to prevent having to also screw it to the bumper. Let me know if this makes sense.

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15323 will fit on your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This receiver is designed to fit the standard factory bumper but does not screw into the bottom of the bumper.
