Is A Higher Ratio In-Wall Slide Out Motor Better For Wear-And-Tear
Question:
With a 13.5 foot slide, I removed the 300/1 motors as my bearing blocks broke, what would you recommend for the motors for the big slide, the 300/1 or would the 500/1 be better ?

The 500:1 Slide Out Motor # LC287298 is just going to have a higher torque than the 300:1 # LC236575 that you currently have. Switching to a higher torque could end up breaking the bearing blocks again or stripping out the teeth of the spur gear without any noticeable difference in operation.
Personally, I recommend sticking with the # LC236575 but I am curious to see how the bearing blocks broke. If you have any pictures please send them my way so we try to figure out what exactly caused the damage.
