No Trailer Parking Lights on Trailer but Stop and Turn Signals Still Work
Question:
Good morning, i have a ram 3500 2018. The parking lights on trailer does’nt work? Fuse 29 and 30 are ok. Right and left flasher are workink, brake light too. It seems ground problem?? What do you think?

The first step to troubleshooting the trailer's taillights would be to check that the signal is coming from the vehicle properly. I recommend using a test light on the vehicle side trailer connector while active. If there is no signal sent then check the owner's manual for the trailer taillight fuse location and check/change this as needed. If there is signal sent from the vehicle then start on the trailer side trailer connector and work your way back to the taillights checking for power along the way with a test light. If there are no brakes inn power then the issue is likely a bad ground or blown bulb. The ground needs to be attached to a bare metal surface.
