I have a solution for you but there isn't going to be a custom fit option for your GMC 5500 truck. You will need to have some fabrication done to install any 5th wheel hitch.
To match the capacity of your truck I recommend the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # RP30054 you were looking at. This hitch has a 30,000 lbs capacity and with your truck you will be able to pull any 5th wheel trailer on the market.
The Reese 5th wheel hitch is built to attach directly to your trucks frame rails so you will need to have some modification done since the mounting holes are only 25" apart. The 2-piece jaw prevents rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin. This results in a more secure connection and quieter ride.
