Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the replacement vacuum plunger for your SeaSucker vacuum cups. We're gonna take a look at how to install it and what you might need to install it here at etrailer.com. So most of your SeaSucker bike racks already have an extra included in your kits, but if by any chance you need to replace more than one, this is gonna be the exact replacement for you. You can get this as a set of one or as many as five, depending on your different situations. You also have the lubricant included with this which helps give you a better seal. If you notice leaks in your vacuum or maybe the pump is acting kind of sluggish, there's the troubleshooting guide in your instructions which helps you figure out what might be the problem.
Sometimes there's dirt that gets into the plunger or maybe your seal inside the cup might need more lubricant. So in that case that's where you use the included lubricant and then you put that in there or you might put it inside here for the plunger to clean it out. To install it, you first need to put the strap underneath and then you put the plunger right there into the vacuum cup. Push that down securely and then you're going to get your housing. So this fits over the plunger's end.
So notice how that has an opening that fits perfectly over it. The final step is to secure it with your four mounting screws. With everything secured, you're now able to use it with your different SeaSucker accessories so just double check that the vacuum works and that the orange indicator seal is hidden and then you're ready to go. So with this exact replacement part all you needed was a Phillips head screwdriver and you we're able to replace the plunger or the pump on your SeaSucker vacuum cup. We also have other parts here at etrailer, whether it's straps or the housing, or even those four mounting screws.
You can find them here on our website. But right here, right now, this was the replacement part or the replacement plunger for your SeaSucker vacuums.
