Yakima HD Roof Rack For 2023 Toyota RAV4 With Flush Side Rails For 2 Thule Hullavators

Question:

I have on order a 2023 Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid LE. Will the Yakima Landing Pad 23 Skyline HD Bar SL Adapter and 55inch HD Bar - small fit on this 2023 model year RAV 4? Will the 55 inch HD Bar give enough side clearance for two kayaks side by side on top of the 55 inch HD Bar or a 60 inch HD Bar - medium be a better fit for using two Thule Hullavators and not hit the side of the car? I am also concerned if the 60 inch will move the weight of the kayaks outward past the Landing Pad? My two kayaks are each 40 pounds. The two Thule Hullavators are each 40 pounds. The total weight on the roof not counting the weight of the HD Bar is already 160 pounds. Is this weight okay for the roof of the RAV 4?

You do have the correct Landing Pad, but you will need the 60 inch Yakima HD bars on your 2023 Toyota RAV4 to use and fit a pair of the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carriers # TH898.

Here are all the parts you'll need for the Yakima HD roof rack on your 2023 Toyota RAV4 with flush side rails:

- Yakima HD Crossbars - 60" Long # Y01157

- SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y53TR

- Landing Pad 23 # Y98FR

- HD Bar SL Adapter # Y03541

The only other thing I recommend are locks to lock the roof rack to your RAV4, the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204.

As for the weight, that is acceptable for the roof of your RAV4 as well as this rack system.
