If the 780 pounds is the dry tongue weight of the trailer then there is a little more information needed to select the best weight distribution system for your needs. You need to go by the total tongue weight which is the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
The Blue Ox system that you selected # BXW1500 is rated for 1,000 to 1,500 pounds tongue weight and would be too heavy of a system if your tongue weight does not get into that range.
The next size down, # BXW1000, is rated for 750 to 1,000 pounds tongue weight and would be the better option if the tongue weight does not go much higher than the 780 dry weight.
You will need to add a ball to this system. Use # A-90 for a 2 inch or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch diameter ball. I have also included a link to our FAQ articles on weight distribution and tongue weight for you.
