Replacement MORryde CRE3000 Rubber Equalizers on a Montana Mountaineer 5th Wheel

Question:

Which equalizer will work on my 2010 Montana Mountaineer? It has 6K Dexter axles on a 35 inch spread. Current equalizer is a Equa-flex trailaire. Overall height is 7 inches. Between the spring mount holes is 6 7/8 inches. Height from spring hole to top mount hole is 3 1/2 inches. Diagonal measure from spring hole to top hole is 4 1/2 inches. Shackles are 3 1/8 inches. I would also like greaseable bolts and bronze bushings. Your recommendation would be appreciated.

To replace the Equa-Flex Equalizers on your 2010 Montana Mountaineer you are going to want the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR87ZR. These have nearly identical dimensions and will work great as both a replacement and an upgrade.

The MORryde is 6-1/2" on center from the front shackle bolt to the center of the rear shackle bolt. The height is 3-1/8" from the equalizer mounting bolt to the center line of the shackle bolts. I have linked a diagram with the dimensions below.

For a replacement shackle strap kit with wet bolts and bronze bushings you will want the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3-1/8" Long Shackle Straps item # MR76ZR.

I have linked a couple of installation videos below that will help you get these parts installed on your 5th wheel trailer.
