How To Convert Trailer with 12K Axles from Drum to Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Question:
I have a Diamond C trailer with 12k electric drum brakes. I want to convert it to EOH disc brakes. Do you have a kit to convert it to Electric over hydraulic disc brakes. Do you have a kit to do this?

Yes, we do offer disc brakes for trailers with 12,000 lbs axles. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2HR12A11-120DW for AL-KO or part # K2R1258L12 for Dexter/Lippert (Most Common) axles. If you don't know what axles you have you'll need to crawl under the trailer and find the tag on the beam which will list the axle manufacturer. In order to complete your setup you'll just need the Hydrastar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit part # CAR-HBA16-2. This works for single and tandem axle trailers but for triple axles you'll also need the Hydraulic Line Kit, Third Axle part # 9579-01.
