I have a hitch for your 2018 GMC Terrain but there are no options to mount it in the stock location behind the rear fascia. Instead you will want the etrailer Hitch item # e59ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your GMC with included hardware.
I really like the etrailer hitch because it because it has a matte black finish which offers superior rust protection and blends in better beneath your Terrain than one with a glossy finish. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 4,500 lbs towing capacity, and a 675 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C94FR and a ball mount kit item # C45534. This wiring harness fits the Terrain's without the factory towing package.
This hitch does NOT fit the diesel models.
