I have 2 recommendations for your 2018 Audi Q5 and it all just depends on what you're comfortable with installing.

For your application I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT because it pulls power straight from your battery via the power lead and then it uses clamps to "sense" when to send power back to your trailer.

The other option is the # C59496 which also has the power lead but this ties into your system by actually cutting and splicing into your OEM wiring.

So the ZCI does a better job at protecting your OEM wiring while the other kit is more cost-effective.
