Recommended Crossbars for a Retrax Pro XR Cover on a 2022 Ford F-350 Long Bed

Question:

If I purchased these items what length bars would I need for the width of my bed on a 2022 F350 Long bed? Thule ProBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH713700, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3101 part # TH450400 Same question if I went with the Rhino that was suggested in another rack question on this type of truck bed cover . Will the Thule Fast Rideinch bike rack T-slot fit on the Rhino?

I would be happy to help you. The RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover item # RTT-80384 is the correct tonneau cover for the 8 foot bed model 2022 Ford F-350.

I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbars for Retrax XR and Mountain Top EVO-M Tonneau Covers item # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 over the Thule system. Unlike the Thule system the Rhino-Rack is actually designed to be mounted over a truck bed. The 71" long crossbar will be just what you need. The Rhino-Rack has a 220 lbs capacity and has built in locks to secure the system from theft.

Yes, the T-slot in the Rhino-Rack Vortex crossbar is compatible with the T-slot accessory option that the Thule FastRide Roof Bike Rack item # TH95JV has.

The Thule ProBar Evo Crossbars Item # TH713700 you were looking at are 79" long so it would stick out quite a ways from what I could find is a 67" wide bed on the 2022 F-350s. Thule doesn't have any shorter crossbars that would still span the width of your bed.

If my measurements are off or you have any other questions please feel free to email me back and I will be happy to answer them for you.

I have linked a couple of pictures below that will show you what the Rhino Rack system will look like installed above a Retrax Pro Tonneanu Cover.
