Recommended Flat Tow Setup For A 2022 Chevy Spark
Question:
I saw this question And it specifically said ...as long as you do not have the ACTIV option.inch So my question is, was that just saying that particular part wouldnt work with the ACTIV option and another would? Or that you cant flat tow the manual trans ACTIV behind an RV? Thanks for your help! Im getting ready to buy a new Spark so want to be sure I can flat tow it.

I went ahead and checked the owner's manual for the 2022 Chevrolet Spark, and as long as you don't have an automatic transmission version, then you'll have no issues flat towing your vehicle.
If you're planning on getting the automatic transmission version of the Spark, then you'd need to use a towing dolly. If this is the version you plan on getting, the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes # DM9713045 is a great option.
This tow dolly has a maximum towing capacity of 4,800-lbs, is made in the USA, and includes a full LED DOT lighting package that provide brake, tail, and turn signal lights, front fender marker lights, license plate marker lights, and a 4-flat trailer connector.
If you're getting the manual transmission version, then you're going to need:
-A base plate kit # RM-523202-5,
-A set of tow bars # RM-522,
-A braking system # HM39524,
-A set of tow bar wiring # RM-152-LED-7 with the automatic battery disconnect switch # RM-766.
