Troubleshooting A Greystone RV Range Hood That Only Blinks

Light for greystone model G22brh-tk keeps blinking. Then only half works sometimes.

The first step to troubleshooting anything electrical is to test the voltage and ensure that it's properly grounded. I recommend using a tester like # PT89ZR and seeing if the range is actually getting 12v. If not then you'll need to check the wiring running to it for any damage and possibly increase the gauge to ensure there isn't a voltage drop.

From there you'll want to check that the ground is going directly to the frame of the trailer or to a ground bar in your power center that's grounded to the trailer frame. A lot of the weird things I've seen electronics do has simply been caused by a bad ground.

Because your vent is from Way Interglobal there aren't any replacement parts that we can get, so you would need to contact them for any motors or control boards that might be malfunctioning.

If you want to just replace it then we have the ductless # VE68SR or ducted # VE88SR as replacement options.
