To flat tow your 2009 Jeep Wrangler X two door with a manual transmission you will need a tow bar, base plate kit, wiring harness, battery disconnect switch, and a supplemental braking system.

Tow Bar - The best way to connect your Jeep to your 2014 Pleasureway Motorhome's 2" ball is to use the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar item # RM-501. You will also need the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables item # RM-643.

Base Plate Kit - If you have the standard bumper you will want the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # 1429-1. If you have the Mopar/Warn Bumper you will need item # 1430-1.

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit item # RM-154. This kit is easy to install, and includes a diode kit that allows you to use your Jeep Wrangler's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. It requires your RV to have a 4-flat connector.

Battery Disconnect Switch - You will also need to disconnect your battery, I recommend installing the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch, Item # RM-766, to make this easier.

Supplemental Braking System : You are required by law to install a supplemental braking system inside your towed vehicle. I like the Stay-IN-Play DUO item # SM99251. The install is more involved than some other systems but after that you just flip a switch to activate it when you're ready to tow.
