7-Way Trailer Wiring Solution for 98 Grand Cherokee

Question:

I have a 98 Grand Cherokee currently with an aftermarket 4 flat that was hooked into the tail light harness. However the jeep actually has a factory tow package that includes a harness to the rear wired for a 7 round which was never optioned. Apparently another harness with relay packs is supposed to plug into this and run to the hitch and 7 pole but the part is long out of production. I want to hook up the 7 pole, so will one of your retrofits work? Only option for my vehicle is 4 flat harness options on your website.

We do not have any direct fit 7-way solutions for your 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee but we can help with a a 7-way solution. What you'd need is the part # 37185 which your current 4-way would plug into and that would adapt it to a 7-way.
